Power plant engineering: Germany must remain the leading market in order to retain exports and innovation

More and more technologies for the transition to alternative energies are being used around the world – demand for future-proof systems is rising. It is essential that Germany maintains its position as the leading market for renewable energies, flexible power plants and storage technologies. This is the only way for the transition to alternative energies to remain a source of export success for German manufacturers. The new Renewable Energy Act, the Electricity Market Act, the Combined Heat and Power Act and ambitious export policies must provide the framework.
